made 100% with Annihilator 1.2 and way too much time on my hands!

Notes: If you have the memory I have the map! All starting positions are under
water - 4 on the top, 4 on the bottom, and 2 in the middle. One of the dilemas
created by the map is that it isn't always advantageous to start your base on
the first dry land you find. Some of the better areas you have to walk some distance
to find. So should you start a base as soon as you hit land or should you find
a more secluded and defendable spot and run the risk of falling behind in the
arms race? Hovercraft and such will definately rule on this map but don't ignore
conventional units. Most everywhere is accessable with ground units but be fore-
warned - there will be some tight squeezes (choke points - got to love 'em!)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Changes in Version 2: I failed to notice that there were not enough shallows
in the rivers and that they hampered ground troop movement too much. Especially
it blocked off the top right of the map from the middle. This version hopes
to correct that oversight. Not that it makes it that easy to launch a ground
offensive but it helps.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Changes in Version 3: In previous versions the lower middle body of water had
no river running into it like all the other major lakes. Reworked that area
so that the rivers on either side flowed into the lake. Just to make it a
little more symmetrical. Also took out a lot of ground terrain to reduce the
file size. Apparently some people like to play on flat maps. I can't imagine
why, though.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A little side note. The name of the map is supposed to be humorous considering
the size of the map. Its going to take more than 40 paces to get anywhere on
this map. And if you ever play this multiplayer you are in for one looonnggg
battle! Its very hard to launch a good offensive when most of your troops are
damaged or dead by the long attrition marches they are forced to take. But
who said futility isn't fun!

After a year of constant battle a war-weary commander landed on a desolate,
primeval world to find a secluded spot to enjoy a well-deserved vacation.
After days of traveling at the bottom of a long, winding river he at last
came to a valley that looked promising! Surrounded by mountains and with
huge lakes that looked tempting to fish in our commander emerged from the
river bed to find....
....that all the other commanders had the same idea he had!
So much for his vacation. Oh well, there is always next year.
